WHAT TO PREPARE?

It is useful to bring along old medical reports, blood test and scan report that you have. (X-rays films or MRI films/CDs)

THE INITIAL CONSULTATION

During your first visit, Dr Wilson Tay will interview and examine you to better understand your pain condition.

If needed, blood tests, X-rays, CT or MRI scans will be arranged to further evaluate and confirm the diagnosis.

He will discuss the various treatment options and design a treatment plan for you. The plan may involve pain medications, physiotherapy and advice on exercises, ergonomics and posture.

If you have any other queries regarding the first visit, please feel free to contact us at +65-65133383 or hello@apicarepainspecialist.com

FOLLOW UP CONSULTATION

During your review, Dr Tay will track your progress by observing your reduction in pain, improvements in physical function and sleep. He will then determine if further treatment is needed.

If your pain control remains suboptimal, doctor may recommend a minimally invasive procedure to treat your pain. This may include the use of ultrasound-guided pain interventions, nerve block, steroid injection, radiofrequency ablation, drug pumps or neuromodulation.
